Jamaican Nationals Require Visas to Enter UK
March 21, 2003 -- A measure that requires Jamaican nationals to obtain visas prior to entering the United Kingdom went into effect on January 9, 2003. The Home Office in Sheffield stated that the measure was necessary as a result of the large number of Jamaicans who violate their conditions of entry upon admission to the UK, and the considerable number of Jamaicans who come to the UK as illegal drug couriers. The Home Office hopes that the new measure will reduce the inconvenience met by many Jamaican visitors who must wait in line for hours in order to be questioned by an immigration official.
The new measure will affect the approximately 400,000 Jamaicans who come to the UK annually. Each entry visa will cost £36.

i wish people will stop being so damn racist! well my partners family are jamaican and i know that my partner had to show that he could support them with his pay slip in order for them to get their visas or something! the prices vary but i know they have to marry a british citizen to stay in the country! hope i helped! and if i was you i would go to jamaica and get yourself a holiday xx merry xmas xx
