The number varies depending on which stat you use and how.

Though 14 million is in the ballpark of how many.

some say as low as 12 million and others as high as 17 million.

I believe the number is less than 2% of the world's population. Given the number of Jewish Nobel Prize winners, they are a remarkable group, don't you think?

It depends what u mean- becasue there are alot of ppl who are jewish but don't know they are. but i guess all together like 30 million, but only about 5 million orthodox.
