The answer is yes. They are three separate beings AND they are one being. It is analogous to Jesus being fully God and fully Man. He is completely both. They are completely three and they are Completely One.

Depending upon which bible you read, the garden of eden had 3 superior beings, god, the lord and the lord god. Catholics had to come up with something a little less confusing. That is where you get the 3 in 1 bit. There were probably several more in the garden, but they only talked about the 3. And most of what you are asking about is junk they threw in over the last 1200 years.

To us God is now, forever, and always. But to God, I bet he has a life of his own. Why, in our minds, do we want to limit God's existence.
To your dog, you are " now, forever, and always". Does that prove that you do not have ancestors, loving parents, a wife, and a future.
Time did not freeze when the Bible was written.
What do you think God has been doing these last 2000 years.
Now, the trinity advocates have disallowed God a son. They say, Sure God had a son, but now he does not have a son, he and his son have become one body. Sure Jesus talked about sending the Holy Spirit, but now there is no personage or entity of Holy Spirit, it has become the same physical body as God.
In his image? How would you like to have a son, and then people say that son no longer exists as a person, that Son has become part of your body, ..... and it walks around back inside you from where it came. .... Yuck
Jesus is my saviour, because he brought to this Earth God's messag of salvation, he is the son of God, and he has a life of his own. In fact, he is a Liberal Arts Professor on Planet H (Heaven). His mother's name is "Natalie". She is famous on her planet as the mother of "teleportation", God and Natalie are scientists, and they love each other very much.
"Coco" is on the right track: The father, son , and Holy Ghost are three enities, they live in our hearts as one God; not one idol, but one unity carrying one message. And, really, what is that message? Harmony is harmony. Disharmony is the only sin against God, - the message is to choose harmony as a way of life. One assurance? If you choose harmony and accept Jesus' message and atonement on the cross, you will make a good neighbor on Planet H (Heaven),
Pretty simple, Why do religious empires complicate and actually corrupt the original Bible Texts.? Answer: To build their selfish empires.

The Holy Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Ghost that dwells within each of us --- are One God in Three Persons.
I know it's still confusing. Let's put it this way. As an individual i can be different persons at different situations.
*At my parent's home i am a daughter,
*with my brother, i am a sister,
*with my nephews, i am an aunt,
*at work, i am a co-worker,
*with friends, i am a friend,
*with clients, i am a my profession.
God to find a way to reach out to touch the people whom He loves, sent His Son, Jesus to learn the ways of the world to fully understand us. And after Jesus' resurrection, He sent to use the Holy Ghost to dwell within each of us reason why He is omnipotent.

the trinity is one of those things you can never be sure about until we get to heaven. at the council of Nicaea they where declared by all the early church leaders to be the same entity. later an addition to the Nicene creed was made by the catholic church saying that the holy spirit proceeds from the father and the son. this upset the orthodox church who believe that he only comes from the father.
other denominations have other views but i personally believe that God, Jesus Christ and the Holy spirit are three separate beings but are all the same God sharing the same essence.
try not to think about it to much it will drive you crazy. its impossible for our small minds to completely understand.

Jesus is also known as the Word of God. Read John 1:1-32
Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was with God, and he was the same as God. etc.........
Read Hebrews 10:1-10
Where Jesus offers himself as a sacrifice before coming down on to the earth.
Read Matthew 1:18-24
Mary having a baby (Jesus) by the Holy Spirit.
Read Mathew 12:15-21
It reads about Jesus the chosen servant whom God will send his Spirit upon him (Jesus).
God is the Holy Spirit, Jesus is the Son, God is the Father. Jesus came on this earth with Gods Holy Spirit
John 8:19
The Pharisees: "Where is your father?" they asked him.
"You know neither me nor my Father," Jesus answered. "If you knew me, you would know my Father also".

They are one being. It's like when an actor puts on different faces or masks. We say 'person' but it's not to mean three 'beings'. We say three persons in English, but its the wrong implication.
We cannot grasp or fully understand the Trinity.
The Trinity is like what we are...body, soul and spirit. Patrick in Ireland used the clover...three leaves of one plant to try to explain the Trinity.
I hope this helps.

There is not a human alive that could suffiently explain a supernatural and infinite understanding of this. It takes much faith to believe that it is so. but here goes.
Bear always in mind that this is the rule of faith which I profess; by it I testify that the Father, and the Son, and the Spirit are inseparable from each other, and so will you know in what sense this is said. Now, observe, my assertion is that the Father is one, and the Son one, and the Spirit one, and that They are distinct from Each Other. This statement is taken in a wrong sense by every uneducated as well as every perversely disposed person, as if it predicated a diversity, in such a sense as to imply a separation among the Father, and the Son, and the Spirit. I am, moreover, obliged to say this, when they contend for the identity of the Father and Son and Spirit, that it is not by way of diversity that the Son differs from the Father, but by distribution: it is not by division that He is different, but by distinction; because the Father is not the same as the Son, since they differ one from the other in the mode of their being. For the Father is the entire substance, but the Son is a derivation and portion of the whole, as He Himself acknowledges: My Father is greater than I.' In the Psalm His inferiority is described as being a little lower than the angels.' Thus the Father is distinct from the Son, being greater than the Son, inasmuch as He who begets is one, and He who is begotten is another; He, too, who sends is one, and He who is sent is another; and He, again, who makes is one, and He through whom the thing is made is another
Since, then, in the case of those who are regenerate from death to eternal life, it is through the Holy Trinity that the life-giving power is bestowed on those who with faith are deemed worthy of the grace, and in like manner the grace is imperfect, if any one, whichever it be, of the names of the Holy Trinity be omitted in the saving baptism--for the sacrament of regeneration is not completed in the Son and the Father alone without the Spirit: nor is the perfect boon of life imparted to Baptism in the Father and the Spirit, if the name of the Son be suppressed: nor is the grace of that Resurrection accomplished in the Father and the Son, if the Spirit be left out :--for this reason we rest all our hope, and the persuasion of the salvation of our souls, upon the three Persons, recognized by these names; and we believe in the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Fountain of life, and in the Only-begotten Son of the Father, Who is the Author of life, as saith the Apostle, and in the Holy Spirit of God, concerning Whom the Lord hath spoken, 'It is the Spirit that quickeneth". And since on us who have been redeemed from death the grace of immortality is bestowed, as we have said, through faith in the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, guided by these we believe that nothing servile, nothing created, nothing unworthy of the majesty of the Father is to be associated in thought with the Holy Trinity; since, I say, our life is one which comes to us by faith in the Holy Trinity, taking its rise from the God of all, flowing through the Son, and working in us by the Holy Spirit

Friend, I will try to answer your question, First of all, there is NO such thing as the trinity & being 3 persons, We have only ONE SPIRIT, & That is GOD The Creator, God is a spirit, & always will be. God is the creator of all things, God will never be a body of flesh, or something tangiable, Remember I said GOD IS A SPIRIT, In God's mind before the foundation of the worlds, God had a Blueprint of what he was going to do, As time comes through the prehistoric times, Unto Adam & Eve time, there could have been millions of yrs. I know many will say no way, It is all in the bible, But many today just read over what the bible actually says. We see sin coming into focus in the Garden of Eden & then The curse, & all through the Old testament they offered to God an animal sacrifice, until Jesus Chrsit came, We see That God knew that there had to be a perfect sacrifice to once and for all be an attonement for our sins. Now many today still thinks we are under the law, I will show anyone, that Christ did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill the law & when Christ came we are NO LONGER UNDER THE LAW, I have many verses I can bring out, But I am going to use Romans 10:4 For christ is the END of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. We see Jesus as God only Begotten Son. Many that thinks there is a trinity says look in Gen 1:26 And God said Let US make man in our image, they will argue with you and say see there God is talking to Jesus, NO he is not, God is talking to his angelic family. Jesus is still that thought in God's mind. Then come Jesus, Born of a virgin birth, sinless, Perfect. & when John Baptized him God the Great Jehovah spirit came to dwell in Jesus WITHOUT MEASURE, meaning that all that God is, is now in Jesus Christ reconciling the world back unto himself. But that does not mean God empty space, God was still everywhere. Only That God indwell all his power into Jesus Christ. Now Jesus was a person, Flesh & Blood, But sinless, Remember God is still a spirit,, When Jesus was crucified, what die, Jesus that flesh did, NOT GOD, Jesus went to the heart of the earth to preach unto those souls in prison (paridise) That would have been every Old testament saint, Now we see Jesus raised from the dead, He goes back to heaven, & That One & only Spirit of God is now coming back to dwell in his people as the Holy Ghost, But this will be with measure, in other words, We don't have the fullness of God in our bodies as Jesus did. So we have ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD, ONE SPIRIT, But in 3 different office work. We have God as the creator, God as the redeemer inside of Jesus, That Flesh of Jesus was NOT GOD, GOD WILL NEVER DIE, can you imagine if we look at Jesus as being God that while then GOD would have been killed, how satan would have a time, Hey he would not allow God to live again, see the point. So we have God as the Creator, God in Jesus reconciling the world back unto himself, & God as the Holy Ghost, But ALL by the self same spirit. Example, I am a husband, & dad, & a grand dad do you see 3 persons, no, But one person fulfilling 3 offices. Now with God it is not PERSONS, But SPIRIT, God,& the Holy Ghost is the same spirit only in another office work of the spirit of God. So now we have God as the creator, & God in Jesus as the Redeemer, & God as the Holy Ghost as the comfortor. Many wants to argue Matt. 28:19, about water baptism, Look very close at that verse, I don't even have my bible open to it, But it says in the NAME(SINGULAR) name of the father son & holy ghost, & there is not one verse in the new testament shows that anyone was baptized into those TITLES, There is only one redemptive name, & that is The Lord Jesus Christ, That is why every Apostles, baptized someone in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ Acts 2:38-47 I hope this may help you some

The word Trinity is not used in the bible at all. If wasn't until after the bible was written that the trinity was introduced to explain some of the passages. I believe that they are separate, as originally intended.
