If you honestly believe something to be true then you are not lying. I have no way of proving someone did not lie along the way when it comes to any religious story or theory, that's one reason I don't have any set religious belief. I would be lying if I told my child I believed in God and Jesus in the Christian sense. A true Christian would not be lying so there wouldn't be a problem when they explain the Bible. All I can do is tell my child about the information that is out there, tell them I don't know which one is true and let them decide what their truth is.

I don't know whether or not Ling is a panda you probably saw at a zoo, but you can teach your kids about God/Jesus without a giant panda.
If you meant lying, then listen: you need to confirm your beliefs: you need to know what you believe, because if you don't know what you believe, how will your children know? I find it impossible to pass something that you want someone else to believe if YOU don't even believe it. If you want to teach your kids about any god of any religion, you must know the fundamentals of the religion. You can't teach your kids Judaism if you don't know about their laws. You can't teach your kids Islam if you don't know anything about Allah or the Qua'ran. You need to know what you believe in order to keep yourself from lying about it.
Besides, you don't need a panda in order to teach your kids about any religion. All you need is an open mind and lots of understanding about what you want your child to believe and whether or not you even believe it. I'm done now. (Oh, and, try to get things patched up with your panda. It won't work teaching your kids about God if you have a panda sitting in the corner. It just doesn't work that way.) lol.

You need to go with the whole family and seek the truth, The true church is the Church of Jesus Christ. If you are sinsere pray and then read James 1 verse 5 And get the Book of Mormon, what a difference it will make in your life. It has in mine.

you mean without lying well that's pretty impossible for certain people to do since most if not all religions are based on some sort of lie or lies as you may since all religion and religious books were made by man to control and manipulate people into doing as they want them to do anyway as an agnostic i would teach my children to be open minded about different possibilities in this life time when it comes to religion and what god to worship since as an agnostic i don't have enough evidence to prove or disprove the existence of god and i would let them make their own decisions as to what they feel is right

I dont have to lie about anything when I teach my children about God. It isnt like teaching your kids about Santa Clause coming to leave presents while they're sleeping, when you know it's not true. What I believe about God, I believe is true so I will never have to lie to my children.

Well, I don't follow Christianity or it's God(s)... I'm Pagan. And I don't Teach my son about any Gods. If he has a question as to what or what or how... I try to give as honest of an answer as possible... When he asked me if any God(s) exist, I answered "I can't prove any such thing... no one can... but it is my belief that there is *something* there..."

You can teach someone about beliefs without lying, you know. *wink*

My belief is true to me and that is how I have presented it to my children. They have learned about other religions from myself, their friends, school, things they have read. I thank God that they have chosen Jesus as their Lord and Savior and made the decision to be baptized.

God Bless you and Merry Christmas.

Since there is no other belief that is all-inclusive of Truth I would wonder if parents ever have the slightest thought that they may be guiding their children to hell, since it is a possibility.
