Well, my windows movie maker program won't save the video that i just made. It says it can't be saved, and to varify that all the files used in the video are still there, which they all are.

So i'm wondering, if i save the video to a disc, is there anyway i can use that to upload my video onto a video site, like youtube or something?

If not, what do i have to do to get my video to work? Will i have to rip the video file off the disc that i burn it to and then try to save it to my computer? Or what?

Gahh. I tried to burn it to a cd but it wouldn't work; i got the same error message. I've been working on this vid for a long time and i don't think i can start over. it took too long.

It sounds like you wouldn't even be able to save the video to the disc since it's giving you that error message. But if you can do that, then both of those ideas you had would probably work. After you burn the disc, I'd go to whichever video site you want, then when you browse to upload the video, just go to the cd drive you have the disc in and select the video file. I'm not 100 % positive that will work, but if it doesn't, the idea you had of just ripping the video to your hard drive will definitely work.

make sure your project is saved to your PC before trying to save it as a whole. I you have it on a memory card or CD or whatever those have to be inserted in order for Movie Maker to Save it as a whole
