Well, astrologically speaking, no.. that's about planetary alignment, but if you are speaking about the effects of it, perhaps.
Looking at the personality traits of the sun sign, we could possibly see some of them:
"The key phrase for Aquarius is "I Know," but that knowledge is not a righteous, superior or exclusionary knowledge. It's a sort of wisdom that draws people together, for Aquarians are, above all else, social animals. They crave interaction with large groups of people, thriving in humanitarian and social causes and in any situation where collective thought, innovation and cooperation are required.
They tend to be eccentric and disdainful of tradition and -- while they love magic and believe in the esoteric arts -- prefer to discover knowledge through scientific experimentation and exploration.
Technology is like a hobby for the Water Bearer. Aquarians stockpile all the new gadgets on the market and are at ease in front of a computer or connected to a cell phone. Sure, they're trendy -- they need to be at the forefront, in the midst of the social action, up on the hottest fads -- but they also truly love other people and believe strongly in the independent spirit.
Sociable, open-minded, innovative, eschewing of tradition, scientific and technologically driven. If we extract these qualities from the individual and apply them to the world, we can see what the Aquarian Age is all about. We will loosen the ties of tradition and forge ahead in a cooperative effort to improve human relations and also the relations between ourselves and our world. We will be respectful yet also playfully, intelligently rebellious. We will admire and encourage individuality and embrace differences rather than fear them. "
I think it'll be awhile yet before we're really living in that kind of age.

The Heavens roll about every 2,000 years. Yes, we are coming into the Age of Aquarius, but the Astronomers can't agree on which celestial event marks the beginning of the Age.
We do see signs that it is upon us though. The transition is never an easy one. For a new conscious to rise, the old one must fall, and we know how those in power will resort to anything to keep from loosing that power!
Keep your eyes open and you will see the decline of aggression, dominance and intolerance. Slowly the world consciousness will become more caring, nurturing & accepting of diversity.
When people learn that you can't hurt your brother/sister without in some way hurting yourself too, then they will understand that we are all connected!
Blessed Be... Happy Yule! ; )

It's just the beginning of this Age, but yes. We've moved out of the Age of Pisces and into the Age of Aquarius.
Given that Pisces helped to create and support institutions, this is why we are experiencing such upheaval now. No institution, religion included, is safe from scrutiny. Frankly, I believe this is a good thing. It will enable the cream to rise to the surface and the crap to be washed away.

I think we are nearing the cusp (edge) of the Age of Aquarius, for they say that when one age takes over from another, great upheavals happen in the world, which is sure happening today.
