My amigo Armando was cursing God because his house was destroyed by lava. I say "Hold on, Armando. You were the one that built your house at the base of an active volcano my friend."
So we debate this. God's fault or Armando's? And it can't be neither. I've got a dozen mangos riding on your responses.

You are right! Put your mangos on Armando's fault, and the people who decided it was OK to build the village there. It's like building house along the coast.. you know there is possibility of a hurricane leveling it. It was their choice to live there. God had nothing to do with the decision.

God's.
If you truly believe in god and "Ask and ye shall receive", how can you see it any other way?
God can stop that volcano without even lifting a finger... yet he didn't.
If you were standing next to a shallow pool of water like 2 feet deep and a baby were drowning in it, would you be obligated to help the baby? If it dies, are you completely free of blame?
That's the problem with an omnipotent, all-loving god. It's impossible given this world for that being to exist.

No. It is written in the binble that there shall be wars and rumors of wars.(the only true statement in the entire bible.(the koran has none).

It is written in history, science books, biology, in the news, tv, movies, books, that there has always been wars, volcanos, storms, tidal waves, floods, earthquakes, sinkholes, . there will always be the same and there shall be rumors of the same.

Slap the **** out of your friend armandos and tell him to forget building at the foot of a volcano and to forget the silly idea of a god also.
