Don't participate. It takes two to fight. If he starts, just roll your eyes and say, "I'm not doing this anymore, I won't fight with you." And then don't. Leave the room if you have to, or change the subject.
Why are you still together if all you do is fight? You can solve the problem by walking away, if there are no children involved.

I can relate. My husband and I used to fight almost every day. I think things are better now because we talked and he tries harder to make me happy. Before, he was very self centered and everything was about him. I admit, I try harder too. Key word is you need to communicate, and learn how to compromise. If you both love each other, effort needs to be put forth from both sides. You are a team so you need to think learn to think alike, by communication and compromising. Good Luck!

You guys are getting too used to one another and taking each other for granted. Take a time out for a while and see if that helps. If not maybe it is time to move on.

Just like kids, you need a long time out. Go some place and stay away for awhile. You both need a breather.
