it's all we can do from this point. but i mix the two and believe what i know is true for me as i think everyone should.

personally karma is the only god i know to exist in full force. do good things and they will come back in 10 fold. the same with the bad.

It's in the believing that we can see and know.

When you first floated in water, you had to believe that it would hold you up, and that you would not sink like a rock. You did not know for sure from personal experience that it would. You had to have "faith" that it would do what others had said it would do. Once you let go of the fear and relaxed, you found that your body did become buoyant and floated. From then on, you "knew" that it could and would without difficulty.

One can only know so much and the human mind is geared up to believe in existence beyond the immediate.

Exactly - direct experience is the only way. Belief and conceptual thinking about it can't be It. It's like someone hearing descriptions about how an apple tastes versus someone who has actually tasted it.
