No that doesn't mean anything. The fact that he is hardcore should not affect the way that he treats you. You're his GIRL and he should treat you that way if he wants to keep you. I was raised with guys and I was the least romantic girl you could've ever met until I met my boyfriend Jaime. Wow I totally changed and now I'm the most romantic girl you could meet :) trust me love changes people. so tell him you need him to be more affectionate or just LET HIM GO!!! :)

Like he is into hardcore. Well I think it's just him. I know plenty of hardcore dudes who show affection towards there ladies. I think it may be him. Just tell him that you want him to be more effeminate toward you. If he is to tough for that then I would look for another dude.

my friend's guy was like this but maybe the guy u r with is acting tough because he is scared what his friends will think about him hugging u i kno this sounds weird but guys do almost everything with the approval of another friend and maybe his friends think he would be acting sensitive if he hugged u so dont force him just hold on and he will eventually realize he has a girl he loves and doesnt care what his friends think!

If he's your boyfriend and doesnt hug you, get a new one. Lack of affection has been proven to do horrible things to the human psyche. Find someone worth your affection, and who is willing to return that affection. Good luck, love.

If you want him to hug you let him know. Some people arent very affectioned while others are overly affectioned. It all depends on how he was raised also. Start by hugging him

Somtimes it means he has someone else that he feels he may be betraying if he shows you affection. Sometimes it may mean that he is just not an affectionate person. Ask him and see if he'll be honest.

some people are just not huggers. try talking to him and let him know that every now and then you would really enjoy a hug.

guy has probs w/intimacy and touching. prob came from a family who didn't give too many hugs, support, etc., etc. I can be like that. Also, my boyfriend is like that; it makes me feel bad. :(

Some guys just aren't affectionate. he probably didn't get cuddled much as a child. Its just the way he is, don't stress on it.
