I work at day care in the nursery room, there was a baby that was exactly 15 months old, he was a boy and was very hyperactive, also i had to take care of 3 babies more so i get it bad, but what you can do is make sure that you have a schedule for her and try to follow it as much as possible, play active games with her a lot so that she can get tired and get a good nap, because if she doesn't get a good nap, then she will be fussy and very hard to put her to sleep and will give you a very hard time, i think at 15 month sold, she will be ready for crayons, dancing, singing, reading, play bubbles with her, and never ever be afraid of giving her positive discipline, it's hard to raise a child but harder to change an adults way, and have a great time!!!

LoL ~ I take care of 3 kids ages 15 months, 3yrs and 5 yrs. In answer to your question, the 15 month old will be able to entertain herself most likely. Just let her do her thing, and stay with her to ensure that she is safe and doesnt pop something into her mouth that shouldnt be there! She most likely will just follow the 8 yr old around. Dont worry hun ~ you'll do great! Good luck!!

hey take it easy like you have been knowing the 8 year old one since she was 5 months same way you'll get along well with the 15 month old too. just be yourself every human being loves babies and they figure out ways to play with them i think you're a wonderful person who is so thoughtful about pleasing a baby people nowadays don't care about at all. you'll excel but after you return just post it up how it went so that we all can cheer for you on your first day....all the best

books work for a few min but don't think you wil get through a whole story. children that age love balls and toys with lights and sounds.play with her with those toys. just make sure that she is fed and changed other then that she should stay pretty happy.
