My 13 yo daughter breasts are more developed than most girls her age. I'm a very caring mom and make her wear bras that give good support, like the one at http://www.anita.com/de/en/0,1,104,1478,39236__products-detail.htm She doesn't like, says it makes her sweatand have 4 hooks in the back. I even posted a question about this yesterday. Most people said I should let her wear other bras. I thought about this, but decided to insist on those bras. Today I had a heart to heart talk with her, I knew she hoped I'd let her get free from those bras, but, with all my love, I told her exactly the contrary. At the end of the conversation I said Hun, I know yu don't like those bras, but you need them, it's for your best, I love you so much and it's decided. You'll wear those bras, it's a motherly decision. She complained, got a bit angry with me but she's a wonderful girl and promised she'll obey. Do you think what I did may cause problems with our relationship? She's a bt angry but not hurt

You're not asking for advice; you're asking for affirmation. If you were asking for advice, I'd say: Explain your reasoning for those particular bras, let her explain her reasons for wanting others, and maybe you can see what you can do about finding a style that's both supportive AND comfortable. That way you can save your arguments for things that really matter. But of course, if you were asking for advice, you would have listened to the vast majority the last two times you asked this question.

I would allow her to pick her own out with-in reason. Sorry to say but you might be projecting your past on to her. I am a mother and I to was almost raped. Rape is not caused by clothes. it is caused by stupid idiots who want power over their victims. Your daughter is becoming a women. pick your battles well. A bra is a personal choice and she needs to know you are listening to her and letting her make her own choice sometimes. There are many worse things then a bra. The type you show I could not make a 13 yr old wear as even I at 27 would sweat to death in them. A tight bra can cause painful back issue.

You don't mention what her size is, but these bras are a bit much for a 13 year old. Here breasts are a lot firmer, and perkier than an adults, so even though they are large, they don't need that much support. Maybe just get her some lighter underwires, and a couple of firm sports bras.
