I think either one can be mysterious depending on the individual. Usually a person is mysterious when he or she intends to be that way. Why would someone want to be mysterious unless there was a reason to do so? Is there any advantage in being mysterious? I don't think so. People want others to be honest and sincere and open and friendly. At least most people want this from friends, acquaintances, and family members. I know I do. I am 59.

I so many ladys 2 day fear men cos they believe that man 's primary objective is going 2 be sex. (asi was reminded by readsing one of the answers, as given by a lady above.)
As far as which sex is more mysterious ?? As a man i believe most women 98% are better at protecting her most intimate emotions. Unfortunately with the birth of cridit card fraud & identity fraud men & women make themselves so hard 2 contact now. The ladies won't even give out their e maill address, 4 fear the they give it to could be a physco. am i wrong? IT IS FACTORS LIKE THESE THAT MAKES MEN BELIEVE A LADY TO BE MORE MYSTERIOUS, ROMANTIC, EVEN can make a man think, give up! go home, " the girl is'nt worth it."
No man will seek a mysterious lady who walks with her breasts hanging out. I'm sure many many men will disagree with me on this.

I think each seems more mysterious to the opposite gender.. men can't figure women out and women can't figure men out.. although I think in general men are easier to figure out than women.. I'm 32
