She hung all over me, and she had been flirting with me. I start to show some interest back, and she becomes a little nervous about starting a conversation with me. She would always be around me, but she waited for me to start the conversations. Once the conversation starts it usually goes on and on, but she will not look me in the eye as much. She looks down more and tenses whenever we touch, yet she continues to find ways to touch me again despite her nervousness. Why is she suddenly so nervous around me?

That sound just like me in the girls position, but i'm a boy and i'm gay.
The reason why shes acting to nervous around you is because she must really like you. For you to make it a little easy for her try opening up to her and make her feel a little me comfortable around you. belive me its true.
Tell her things that would make her feel good about her self. You guys a be just fine and hope shes right for you wish you guys the best of luck.

Any quirk that some girls have. They flirt with guys that don't seem to be interested in them. And get really surprised when the guy DOES have interest in them. Just tell her that she doesn't need to be so nervous around you. That she should be comfortable because that's what you want for her. You don't want her to fell uncomfortable around you. Tell her you'll back off if that's what she needs. But I doubt that's what she wants. Don't worry she'll get over it.

BEACUSE SHE LIKES YOU A LOT!! if you feel like your feelings are the same, then address that topic with her. and make it more official that you guys are talking. thats probably why she gets even more nervous when you show interest, because its still not very official that you guys are talking to get to know eachother better for a possible relationship. though she will still be shy and nervous around you after, but thats only cus she likes you. :)

Because now she realizes that u like her too, and she feels nervous about the fact that she could do something or say something wrong and you will stop liking her. Also, she might have been just playong around and now she fully understands that she totally likes you and that u like her back.
Don't worry, just make her feel confortable, that's all you can do now.

She likes you but it seems like she is shy or maybe she doesn't think she is good enough for you. You should make her feel more comfortable make her feel beautiful and let her know that she doesn't need to be shy
