For calisthenics, full pushups from chest flat on floor to all the way up with arms extended, are good.

A weight training program involving bench presses, inclined bench presses, and bench flies with dumbbells will beef up your pectoral muscles very effectively.

The fat issue is also dietary. Eat a balanced diet with plenty of protein. And don't forget to also do aerobic exercise along with weight training!

Good luck!

you can't go staight ahead to push up, you must do it gradually , i prefer you buy dumbbellsl ( more convenient and easier to use that really works) do some chest fly using your dumbbells
Start with the dumbbells above your chest and lower them to your sides, keeping your arms in the same slightly bent position. When returning to the start position, turn your wrists some, so that the back of the dumbbells touch. :)
