The server needs to be updated. Once updated, the clients (i.e. your display need to be refreshed.This may take a few minutes for the server to get updated and filter through to the clients.

it takes time for the server and people's computer to refresh, If you click on it to answer it the server will put up a message saying that "this question has been deleted" and who it's been deleted by: e.g. either questioner or yahoo admin.
what i want to know is what happens to the points your supposed to get back after picking a best answer? do you get them all back?
not that i'm fussed about points, i enjoy asking questions more than I do trawling for them, it'd just be an intersting thing to know though again, i'm not too fussed about trying it out to find out.

Be patient. It should disappear after the server refreshes.
