I really liked Comcast but recently we got Time Warner and they are horrible. I am thinking to going to Direct TV because they offer a TIVO like thing to go with your service which is very cool. Although the drawback if you have that dish on your roof which I don't like. If I still had comcast I would stick with it instead of the direct TV. But if you are big on sports Direct TV is the way to go.

We Just got DirecTV with a DVR recorder and it is great. We love setting it to record shows and movies at night or when we are away and when there is nothing on TV we can bring up on of those recorded shows. You can record up to 2 shows and watch a recorded show at one time. Also we can set-up custom(favorite) channels, so we see only the channels that we want to see. It allows us to flip through the channels without having to go through the PPV, latin, movie, home shopping and blank unsubscribed channels. Plus with DirecTV you get XM radio.

However, with this first month we have noticed a couple problems. It has blanked out a couple times and about three times now it has erased or failed to record a movie on the DVR. Other than that we are pretty happy with it.

Comcast is better too me. Here's a website you can visit for free.

www.quixtar.com
Use this log in information:

101919616 is your quixtar number
1234free is the password.

Once there type in Comcast and it will take you to a Broadband store. You can read reviews, comparisons and see actual data.

You can also purchase either one there too!

ENJOY.

Direct TV. Direct TV allows you to see a lot of sports that other stations dont get and it allows you to see some hundred stations!

Cable is better-more of the things I like to watch and the local channels. Satellite TV stinks-yeah its HD, but when there is nothing I like to watch on, what is the point?!?
