She used to start conversations with me and touch me a lot, but now, she only touches me a little and starts few conversations though she is always walking past me. I start the conversations now, and I am pursuing her for a relationship. When we talk, we talk forever nonstop, but she no longer looks me in the eye, and she tenses up around me. Why is this? We have been good friends for years and become close friends lately.

No, just kidding. ;) I think she has developed feelings for you beyond friendship. She's probably scared you don't feel the same way and is trying to either convince herself out of these feelings or just keep them hidden from you. Either way, she certainly feels differently now than she did before.
I would suggest you ask her about it if you want to know the reason behind the sudden change. If you feel uncomfortable doing so, wait it out. One way or the other, things will work out. =)

She might just want to keep you as a friend and she sees that you are looking for more than a friendship. Therefore she doesn't want to give any wrong signs of attraction. I would just ask her straight up, otherwize it's going to eat both of you and might lose a good friend as the result. If she says that she's not interested ask her where you went wrong so you can keep that in mind for next time. Good luck

I see all these answers telling you it's about you. I got bad news for you . . it's not about you. You really don't know what's going on. If you're relationship oriented and want to pursue her, you have to talk to her. Just be open, but be ready for her to say "I'm just not open to a relationship right now". or something like that. If she needs space, give it to her. If she needs a friend be one to her.
Just remember, you don't know what she's going through, so be sensitive. It's not about you.

She's not shy, doesnt want you anymore but is too polite to say goodbye... ask her right out if she doesn't want to be with you or talk to you anymore

If you talk forever ask her the same question you asked in this forum. Good friends should be able to share things and ask questions. She had purused you. All women love to get attention and I am sure she is enjoying you pursuing her now.

well she could be like that because she really likes and dont know how to act around you and what to say now. THE BEST THING TO DO IS TALK TO HER ABOUT IT CALL HER RIGHT NOW OR GO SEE HER AND TALK TO HER ABOUT IT
