I like this guy, he is really awesome. I want to ask him to dance at the next dance, should I?? If I do should I do it in person or have my friend ask him to dance with me? He is really the most popular guy in school and I talk to him and everything and he knows that I exsist, I am not a geek at all but I am not as popular as him. I really like him and I just dont know, I sorta would feal embaressed if he said no and I would still feel embaressed if he said yes because I dont really know how to dance but you know still... But at the same time I would really like to dance with him, I would be happy for the rest of my life, he doesnt know I like him though. I dont want to tell him I like him though, not yet.

The worst thing that could happen is that he'll say no. And it sounds like if he does that he's not the guy you think he is.
However, I'm one of those girls who would tell you that if you're reaching for the stars, go for the whole moon. Why not ask him to be your date to the next dance? If that's going to far, stick with just asking him to dance.
If you're scared of the rejection and embarassment at the dance, you could always bring it up before the dance. You say you talk to him, right? Maybe the next time you talk you could mention something along the lines, "Hey, would you want to dance with me at the next dance?"

First of all learn to dance! Then just walk right up and ask him. All he can do is say no but if he says yes thats all the better. And also if you like him that much he will be able to tell. Don't be shy, JUST DO IT!!

I think you should ask him yourself. Just go up to him and say hi and start talking, and then casually ask him if he wants to dance. You don't have to tell him you like him.

girl go head and ask him out. it shouldnt matter how popular you are to ask someone out you like. You never know he might like you too. Dont be embarressed if he say no then just forget about\ and go for someone else.

ok first of all you need to ask him. and if he says no there are plenty of other guys out there for you. DONT get your friend to ask him because that is not her place stand up and go for it you have nothing to loose girl

I think that it is better to take chances but you should tell one of your friends to ask him for you so that way if he says no you won't have to pass the embarrasment in front of him.
