I didn't hear about the story, but would it have made a difference if it WEREN'T a cop, but a regular person???? What difference does it make if he is/was a cop or not?
It is pretty sick (cop or not) and it smells almost like some sort of insurance fraud (to get the life insurance) going on.

I think he has a very unhappy marriage, as well as totally f***ed up values. Divorce would be so much easier, and it's legal. Unless he's Catholic and wants to remarry another Catholic, (then he needs an annulment rather than a divorce).

He should be tried for solicitation of murder, of course.
And the boss at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) who instigated the murder of Gordon Kahl (February 1983 by federal marshals and the FBI) should be put on trial for capital murder, aggravated by conspiracy, tampering with witnesses, suborning perjury, destruction of evidence, torture, corpse mutilation, and killing sheriffs who got in the way.

a cop had 200K in discretionary monies? wow......why didn't he just write her a check. I think he was shutting her up. If he had that kind of money, she most certainly had a lot to tell.

Just goes to show that every type of career has those who are corrupt, not just politicians and big business.

let his wife's family take care of it the old fashioned way i.e. an eye for an eye. Also I hope they can forgive him.

Probably would of got it back with life insurance, so it didn't matter to him, and if they just got divorced, he would've had to pay alimony. He's not that crazy, just a criminal.
