huge space after first part of list in add/remove programs and then more programs listed?

well, in add/remove programs i see a bunch of programs listed and then i get a huge space and after it a few more programs listed. This happens nomatter how the programs are sorted and my windows are new and original. Anyone knows how to get rid of the space???
