Because they're trying to look like they aren't "whipped" when they're with you around their buddies. Tell him you don't like it when he treats you like that, that it makes you feel bad, like he doesn't care about your feelings or respect you.

Because most guys are morons, and this coming from a guy. They act like that because they are insecure with themselves, and they feel like they need to "act" around their friends to fit in. It always surprises me that girls continue to put up being treated like that and continue to come back for more. If you do not put up with it, the behavior will stop. Guys are nothing if not predictable, do not reward behavior that pisses you off, and be willing to walk away. Guys need women more than women need guys. Plain and simple.

Because some guys and girls dont know how to act when they are around their friends and they feel like they need to put on a front which kinda makes them a little fake but almost all people do it. There are rare people that act the same all the time. Its a macho thing for guys and a popularity for girls.....its human nature.....wish no one would act like that tho

Hey, I know what you're talking about. It's most likely because they don't want to look nice in front of his friends, he probably wants to look cool and all. If the boy you like, crushing on, or love, is doing that to u, he is definatly not the one.

They may not want to come off as "soft" around their friends. Guys are way more self-conscious than girls.

Because they want to act all cool in front of their friends. They have an "image" to uphold in front of their buddies and they don't their friends to be making fun of them later.
