Definitly avoid using them...See your food has a period of 4 hours before it becomes totally in the danger zone! And yours was in the danger zone ( the time period in which the food has become totally infested with bacteria such as salmonella) for way to long. The same goes for leaving your cooked rice or your leftover chinese out over night...if its been out for longer than 4 hours in a definite throw out!
However if your chicken was under cold running water than you could eat it because it was under a consistently safe tempature

I just read a report saying that up to 70% of all chicken sold in the US is tainted with salmonella- just cook it VERY thoroughly- or throw it away. After just 10 hours, you're not going to worry about actual spoilage, just the growth of microbes.

Absolutely not. Raw chicken carries a risk of trichinosis which is why it should be thoroughly cooked. This risk increases if the chicken is left unrefrigerated for any length of time. I suggest throwing it out and buying new chicken.

I wouldn't as chicken is one of the most tricky food products. you really need to be careful!

You can get some really nasty illnesses through poorly cooked chicken etc. I wouldn't risk it.....Christmas round the corner etc....its never worth it!

You also need to wipe the surface down where you had left the chicken. Use anti bacterial spray and boiling water!

I did that recently myself, I brought them in from the store and accidently didn't get them into the fridge. I opened the package, rinsed the breasts and smelled them. They were still coolish as it's not that warm in the house. They didn't smell bad at all. So I cooked them immediately. They were fine. I think you have to make a judgment call based on all of those things. I suspect they are OK, but if your worried then I would toss them. You can't really take them back since it was your fault not the stores. I'm sorry about that. Best Wishes to you.

I wouldn't risk it at all. I get paranoid about chicken at the best of times so definitely bin them. I know the weather is a lot cooler now but with your heating on indoors and just being left there......they are wasted now.

No, after an hour the meat starts to form a live bacteria, that was already in the meat, but now it is forming into something not healty, and that is why the meat is starting to stink, and feel slimy.

Well, I use to leave my meat out, after I cooked it, and gave myself food poisoning 3 times. I would say no, I know it's not cooked but it's still dangerous to eat.
