Sitting at home when the kids are at school - I'm 43.

Depends. If there was a school day which was all drama, or whatever your favourite subject is, you would want to go in. Also, you see all your mates if you go to school. If you just sit at home, you would get so bored.
At school, you sometimes learn stuff which can prove useful. Only sometimes though.
School can also sometimes be fun, if you have good teachers, they can make lessons really fun and interesting.

Would be nice to have a little more holiday though................

Whether you like it or not is not really the point. The point of school is to prepare you for the big wide world so you don't sit on your backside all day because you can't get a job because you are thick and cant read or write.

I myself prefer staying at home, but I do realize that school is beneficial for a good life, therefore i don't despise leaving the house at 7:00 in the morning. Hope that helped. =)

well if i was in school i would choose sitting home for this time of year. i don't like going out into the cold. i do miss school though.

I'd rather be in school, for most subjects anyway. Put me a math class and I'd rather be *anywhere* else. I really do love learning and thinking, and when I'm home I'm usually reading a book anyway.

I like going to school to see my mates n that but it is good to have the weekends off n stuff coz lessons do get boring!!!

i hate both... well kinda. i only like school to be there talking to my friends. but i love being at home because i dont have to be stuck learning....
