I'm not clear on what the question is but Adam & Eve were 100% perfect in the sense that they did not have any sin. Once they disobeyed then sin came into them and Earth. From that point on Adam, Eve and everyone born from them are also sinners (all of us).

Great point; the Bible agrees with you. They were perfect to begin with, and God's purpose for them was to live on and care for the earth. - Genesis 1:28.

That is still God's purpose, that perfect people populate the planet. -- Isaiah 45:18.
His purpose WILL be done, according to Isaiah 55:10, 11. That is what Jesus taught us to pray for in the "Lord's Prayer." (Matthew 6:9, 10 - "Thy will be done on earth.")

Earth abides forever according to Ecclessiastes 1:4. It will be inhabited by righteous people. -- Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:9-11, 29; Proverbs 2:21.

No more sickness sorrow or death; the earth will be a paradise. - Isaiah 33:24; 35:1-10; Revelation 21:3-5.

The scriptures don't say "perfect." The word "good" is used quite often, but not perfect. They were designed to live in Eden. God already had creations in Heaven.

The great news? We were given a way to get into Heaven even though we make similar decisions about our own lives.

Adam & Eve are supposed to be eternal human being placed in the Garden of Eden (in this world), the master and manager of everything like animals & everything in this world, and to behold and enjoy the beauty of the world which God had created for them to see and witness. They have the holy spirit of God and created in the likeness & image of God...means created perfect too like God, and given free will so they won`t feel like a robot or slaves as God creations.
Because they sinned to God...their life was lessened from infinite to finite, and instead of just enjoying the paradise who has everything for survival...now, they were driven out and have to toil the soil or work hard for their survival in this world.

The key word in your "question" is WERE. Then they screwed up and listened to satan, as so many today do. That is why Jesus came, to pay the "bill" for their mess. A Blessed Christmas to you.

I have never heard they were perfect- God looked at His creation and said it was "good".
They both were the first sinners, as far as man is concerned, satan of course being the first.

i believe that god truly understands that we're bound for sinfullness becoz we're a by product of our first parents, i.e. adam and eve... however, our destiny is up to us... i still believe that there is heaven that is wide open for pipol who wanted to spend their lifetime there as long as they'll meet the 'requirements'.... as long as they'll humbly accepts their wrongdoings and learn to repent... also, if they'll learn to follow and live as good christians - learning to emulate what christ's did... im sure god will welcome them to his heavenly kingdom...
