Last night my boyfriend and I got in our first disgreement in 5 months...its kinda a long story. Awhile ago I told him I was not a big jewelry fan, I am very simple and dont wear a lot. I usually wear the same watch and necklace everyday bc that is all I have. He offered to go shopping with me and I pick something out bc he wouldnt know what to buy me. I told him I like jewelry I just dont wear it much and was nervous about him buying me anything. He got confused and mad that I had told him one thing and then something else. We sort of argued about the fact he listens so well to me then I end up changing my mind. He told me he just wanted honesty. I cried bc I am honest and he kinda shut down bc he was frustrated. We ended things fine, kissing hugging but he told me he wasnt buying my apology. I am worried he is going to break up with me bc he wont want to deal with it. Should I worry that he will walk away bc we had our first fight? It was a stupid disagreement, should I worry?

Jesus Christ lady, are ya ten? One argument and you worried about breaking up? CRYING over THIS?!? Your ******. I would not dump you for fighting with me, but I sure as HELL would dump you for crying, going on Yahoo asking all this crap, and worrying about a break up after ONE fight. Grow up.

Having a disagreement in a relationship is normal. How you deal with the disagreement is the important thing. Why were you crying over such a thing? If he wanted to take you to pick out a piece of jewelry you would like and want to wear, what was your problem with this? I think you reacted inappropriately and showed a lack of maturity. Perhaps you could have another talk with him and let him know it was sweet of him to want to get you some jewelry and that you'd LIKE TO GO SHOPPING WITH HIM.

You shouldn't worry. You'll have a lot more stupid disagreements (some will be a lot more stupid than that). Just be ready to deal with it calmly when it comes back.

don't be worried he just wants to get something he knows you'll like and you cant have a relationship without having arguments because then it would be to perfect then it would mess up anyways I'm sure it will be OK.

nope not at all. your first disagreement is the scariest because you don't know what is going to happen and every possibility runs through your mind. everything is going to be fine, i promise just reassure him on how you feel about him.
