On thanksgiving, I had the entire family to my house…My nephew and his cousin were playing in my 'office' in the house…I went to check on them only to notice the door was locked. I had them open the door immediately, and all was well. When the holiday was over, and I was about to 'relax', I noticed that the cabinet where I store my classy adult videos was in disarray. I believe the kids were looking at the covers. Now, he is 8 years old…should I tell his parents or leave well enough alone?

tell the parents that you had some adult stuff locked away and that their kids *MAY* have gotten into it.

Yes, tell the parents. Why wouldn't you??? Parents have a right to know what's going on with an 8 year old, especially in this category.

I would tell the parents, so they can explain to them. About sex. something similar happened with my kids and was sick. I had to explain what they were doing. Just in case. the kids have questions maybe the parents should no so they can explain to the children. It is defiantly something that should be talked about

NO. Just leave it alone. If you tell the parents they'll think things about you... just leave it alone, and if by some case the kid ends up telling the parents.. at least you can respond saying ... "well what were they doing in my private stuff."

Yes, absolutely. think if the situation was turned around and it was your child, wouldnt you want to know?

the child is old enough to understand what they saw, yet still completely curious. this could lead to other issues later in the child's young adolescence.

the Bible says:

Proverbs 22:6
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Do not tell the parents. The kids probably won't tell on themselves, which is good unless you want the faimly knowing about your movie collection.

My daughter was spending the night at a friend's house, she and her friend snuck into the mom's room and watched a porn video. She has been different ever since. My girl friend kept it a secret. I am just sick.

ummmm well you could do either. but i were in this situation, i'd leave it alone. she won't say anything to you because her kids were snooping. it's not like you left them out for all to see. They were put away and her nosy kids got into them. definitely not your fault! plus, kids these days learn/hear/say things waaaaay earlier than we'd ever want them to. it's just society these days! let it go.
