Well in short there is no good way to tell some one they are bad at something.
However there is sort of a backwards way you can go about it. You can tell him things that you do like, and say things like "I would really like it if you did (fill in the blank) with your mouth/tongue/lips etc." Think of it as positive reinforcement. Hopefully he will pick up on these good things and move away from the not so good things he dose.
Other then that you can just tell him straight up that your not digging his style, and that you would like it to change. But trust me, that never goes over very well!

Dont say he's not a good kisser just tell him he kisses different than you. Then say you would like to try kissing your way and he will want you to show him how. Tell him to let you guide and him follow. That's really the only way to show someone how to kiss right. Good luck. There is nothing worse than a bad kisser.

how about instead of telling him that he is a bad kisser (might hurt his feelings/ego/pride), OFFERING him suggestions on how to do it differently. When you guys are making out, say, "I just want to try this new thing out, if you are interested." and guide him. When he gets it right, praise him for it and tell him how much you like it ;).

My ex was such a bad kisser, after like our second kiss I told him that he must try copy the way im kissing him... It kinda worked, i ended up breaking up with him though cuz he couldnt learn fast enuff!!!

Don't tell him that, show his how to be a better kisser. You take the lead and he will follow.

well..i experienced that.. and after the kiss, i totally avoided him.
he got really angry, so i just started to talk to him again, and he told me that he would've rather have me tell him so he can fix it, other than avoiding him
