Why do people hate illegal aliens so much? Immigrants? My mom is an illegal alien, and although you may not even want to read this, just hear me out. My mom has been here for 15 years, trying to get her residency, not even her citizenship. The only reason my moms came here, was to give birth to me, and allow me to have a better life. I know that sometimes she may have her regrets about coming here. But she did it for me, and I love my moms. She came here, because it truly is a better world. But with so much discrimination, this almost perfect world, is torn apart. Immigrants are humans too, with feelings. And although you may not realize it, they suffer everyday. My mom misses her home, and she can't leave the USA, because if she does, they won't allow her back in. Think about it...being away from home...for 15 years. Doesn't that count for something. We are so blinded by our arrogance, that now, we even want a wall. To prevent people to live better lives. Are we animals?

Let's look at it a different way. Your neighbor next door has a much better house with lots of food in the fridge, and really great stuff compared to yours. What it they said you could come to their house and use their stuff, but there was a procedure and a long waiting list because they wanted to preserve what they had so everyone that was there now and everyone that came in the future could benefit. Would you go through the procedure or sneak in their window?
As for being a racist and not understanding what the United States stands for.. I think we all may do well to read the constituion that was written a very long time ago when this great nation was established.....

Yes. There are millions of peoplel who are waiting to come US legally. Just because you live across the border who gave you the right to cross border illegally and claim all the rights. In my opinion all the people who violate laws must be punished whether it is immigration or any thing else. Who asked your mother to be away from home for 15 years. She can go to your home any time. Who's stopping your mother? If given a chance the entire 1.2 billion population of India would love to come to USA then what happens to USA? Because of you illegal immigrants we are paying billions and billions of dollors towards your health which includes your birth also. If you want a better life go ask your Mexican government not US Govt. I came to this country legally got my green card under EB1 category the highest category and even after 9 years I still waiting to become a citizen.

The only reason your mother came here was to give birth to you.The most racism I see on here comes from the pro illegals and the Mexican supremest groups This word .ethnocentrism," which means a person perceives his or her own values as better than anyone. In this case, it seems certain Latinos are seeing their own values as better than American values. Perhaps that's just one of the problems with illegal aliens. In the time your mother has been here she has not developed any love of this nation, all she does is want to go to back to her home land.So she has used this nation and all its services and like a dirty tissue she want to throw it away .Typical
I am sorry for you that you feel the way you do.But its your mother and you cant see the wrong in this I know.No you are not animals but then again America is not a country to use and then disrespect either.

Technically we are animals. We have instinctual reactions that have yet to be resolved by rational thinking. When it comes to a foreign animal invading another animals territory the first instinct is to protect it and chase the other away. So yes we are animals and I'm sorry to hear you live in such a prejudice society but you can also thank your mother for that she should have by-passed the United States and made a run for Canada. FREE health care rules.

No, but your mother came here without proper documentation, she doesn't pay taxes SO that means your education is being paid by ACTUAL American citizens.
And not only that, but if I had my way there would be NO more anchor babies. Babies that are born here to illegal aliens should NOT have instant citizenship.
BTW For Producer Vortex MY DAD and younger brother ARE Carpenters!! And I have an uncle who works in construction. Those are jobs that were once considered "blue collar" jobs that Americans that did NOT go to college could work and make good money at it. Not now thanks to the illegal aliens that do NOT belong here.

There is no way to make what your mom did right. Its sounds like she knew what she was doing was wrong. We have legal ways to be here, most do not want to take the time, spend the money , and do the paper work. I do think to that some know they will not pass a backround check. What your mom did, is just what we here in the U S A, do not like, coming here just to have a baby born in America.

Let me tell you something, I too have family who are illegal aliens. I used to defend illegal aliens, but I have come to realize that they are breaking U.S laws and that is incorrect. Yes I am hispanic and call me a traitor or anything you want, but I speak my mind and this is how I feel. I see illegal immigrants as equal as everybody else and I treat them with the same respect I treat legal residents. I have nothing against them and I understand that they are humans and for that reason I treat them with respect. I admire illegals for the fact that they were brave enough to endure disrespect, humiliation and un-educated "residents" who think of themselves of higher rank than hispanics because all their life they've had what they want, please understand me and congradulate your mother for me, for being one of the greatest mothers and wanting the best for her child. I wish you the best and I hope you understand how I feel.
Love,
Me

Americans understand that your mom and other immigrants came to the US to get a better life and we have no problem with it. The problem is that if they are illegal!!!
Your mom has been in the US 15 years and hasn't became a citizen yet?? Just don't understand that. Please don't tell me that the system is slow, the process takes time. I know that, but 15 years??

People mistake frustration for hate. A lot of American citizens are frustrated that illegal aliens are taking advantage of our country and getting privileges handed to them that we never did.
As for your mom being away from home for 15 years, it was HER choice to enter the US legally to give birth to you, therefore she has to live with the consequences of her decision. Nobody forced her to do what she did.

Because by coming here illegally, your education, $10,000 per year grades k-12 was stolen from our children's education funds. Our schools are not as good as they were, and most funding goes to ESL programs, not to our own children, in areas where illegals concentrate and have children.
You may love your mom for stealing that money to give you an education, but you can't expect us to love her for it.
