Say you're proposed to and given the engagement ring, the stone one, then on your wedding day, you get the other one.. What order do the rings go in? I really don't even know if I just worded that right.. but, I am really confused about the order of how the rings go period.. engagement ring and then the wedding one.. how do they go on your finger?

So you take your engagement ring off at the wedding day, and put your wedding ring on first, then put the engagement ring on after the wedding ring..? right? lol..

First, both rings go on your left hand. The wedding ring goes on first then the engagement ring.

The wedding band is traditionally first (closest to the heart) then the engagement ring. During the ceremony, the groom just slips the wedding ring on. It can be pretty awkward to take off the engagement ring, put on the wedding ring and then put the engagement ring back on. Some time before the reception, you can order the rings "properly".
Really there is no "proper" way. Wear them how you see fit. Some women don't wear the engagement ring at all once they're married.

Some people wear the engagement ring on the right hand after the wedding and leave the wedding ring on the left hand.

You put the wedding band on first, then the engagement ring overtop.
On your wedding day, make sure you either don't wear your engagement ring, or move it to the other hand. You need to have your hand bare, the one that will be receiving the wedding band. Then after the ceremony, or later, you can move the engagement band to go overtop of the wedding band.

On the hand it goes engagement ring and then wedding ring. The engagement is closer to the body than the newest ring (the wedding ring). No I have never heard of taking the rings off at the ceremony. Ask the priest or whoever is doing your ceremony.

The wedding band first..then engagment ring. I gave my engagement ring to my husband the night before. We had the pastor bless both of them at the ceremony and then he put both rings on my left hand at the same time.

wedding band goes on 1st then the engagement ring on top of it so on your wedding day you either take it off completely or what I'm going to do is wear it on my other hand so that after the ceremony I can put my engagement ring on over top of my wedding band ... good luck and congratulations

Yes you got it:) Take of the engagement ring for the ceremony, then put it back on after the ceremony:) The wedding band sits first, closest to your heart:)

i wore mine with the wedding band first and then the engagement ring. i've seen people wear them the opposite way too. once the engagement ring is on, some don't want to take it off, so they put the wedding ring on second. it's really up to you and what you prefer. congrats!!!

The wedding band goes on the left ring finger first, it is supposed to be closest to the heart, then the diamond ring, engagement ring. If you get anniversary bands, they can go on top of the wedding band or on top of the diamond, but the band is always supposed to be closest to your heart.
