Mountain Dew is my favorite soda and I'd like to find a good combination of alcohol to mix with it. Any suggestions?

Try something like Vodka or maybe Bacardi Limon'...I have found that both of these work very well with Sprite and would probably work well with Mountain Dew too...
I took a look online though and found some recipes so check em' out...

Scale ingredients to servings
1 1/2 oz Absolut® Citron vodka
1 1/2 oz triple sec
3 oz Mountain Dew® citrus soda
Pour the Absolut Citron vodka and triple sec into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, and strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top with mountain dew, stir briefly and serve.
and I found that vodka and Mountain Dew mixed is called a "Nude Slide Down the Mountain"...interesting..lol...

Years ago I was at a hard core biker blowout down in Florida. The elixer of choice was Moonshine and Mt Dew. let me tell ya, some wild stuff went on at that thing! Things i had never seen before, or since.
Since you probably dont know anyone making moonshine (may you do) the closest you can come is pure grain alchohol. As far as I know, only a couple of states allow its sale, my state, Connecticut, being one of them. If you cant get any grain, then good 100 proof vodka will have to suffice.

Mountain Dew and Amaretto is great. It has a very similar taste to an Amaretto Sour -- and it also tastes a little like Mt. Dew Code Red.

Mt. Dew, Hennesey, and HPNOTIQ makes the "Incredible Hulk" highly recommended.
Mt. Dew and UV Blue Vodka(60 proof $11 - fifth) is great
Although I HATE coconut, Bicardi CoCo and Mt. Dew is surprisingly good.

mt dew and orange vodka is always yummy.
or u can get all ghetto like we used to do and carry around a fifth of jim beam and 2 litre of the dew. chase the jim beam with the dew or if ur truly a bad ***.....chase ur jim beam with more jim beam.
