Russia and China..?

Question

Someone else posted a question on the subject. What would happen w/ an all out war; Russia vs China? And what would lead up to this event?

They both have outdated weapons, but Russia has Nuclear Weapons. So does China but Russia has 17,000 and China has 130. But Russias havent been looked at in 30 years so who knows if theyll even work. They both have great militarial numbers; just not technology.

Like the other person stated, China has been settling on Russian land and calling it their own. Something else, besides power and land dispute, that might cause these countries to go to war might be N Korea and the Middle East. Where does Russia stand on N Korea and if war was to break out w/ the Middle East against the US, Israel, and European nations; whos side would they take?

So..

-China vs Russia, who would win and why?
-Where does Russia stand in the Middle East and on N Korea?
-What else might start this war?

I don't think China would have the guts to fight Russia, they know would never be taken alive. You can't just invade Russia and expect they will succumb to your will. We've seen this in WW2 When Germany almost had them beat. But I think China does have the man power to win. But they know the Russian would fight dirty and most defiantly would destroy the three gorge damn in China.

You have to know one thing though, China has a huge military but in some ways that is a disadvantage. Especially while fighting the US. An army fights on it's stomach and if you do something to disrupt the food supply to that huge population they would have to go running home. That's what would prevent them from fighting and winning against us. With Russia they would be able to get that huge army right at their door step with out having to stretch supply line across the ocean. But as i stated earlier Russian would fight dirty and they would go after those weak spots in china that would send their country into chaos. It's to much risk for both countries to go to war.

there will not and never be a war between Russia and China due to many factors. But the real question is, what will happen to the states if Russia and USA collide? They seem to be pissing a lot of countries off, including Russia. If the collide, the world is...well, let's say, it'll change

Russia has outdated weapons? Are you serious?
You just so naive to believe your own propaganda or have no knowledge on the subject?
Russia has great weapons even better than the USA does and Russia has great technology behind all this. You just cannot see it. If Russia did not have great technology and weapons the USA would long ago invaded Russia. This does no happen bc Russia is a superpower. But think what you think it is better for peace in the world

China and Russia recently held the largest joint military exercise (war Games) ever.. There wouldnt be a war between those two countries it is unlikely..

after a hard fight, i think russia could hold off the chinese
the chinese have sheer numbers, but the russians have a LOT of firepower, although outdated
they hav close to fifty thousand tanks, and taht could be a problem
plus they still have some good weapons delivery systems
also, russia and india recently developed the brahmos cruise missile, which is the worlds first supersonoic cruise missile, dunno if that would help though

i agree with lion. trust me, russia isnt stupid. and theyr weapons arnt just ak47s. further more.,,, if russia was to fight china, china would be Obliterated . like a cockroach... hahah borat movie line. funny..
