I tooI too am a green card holder it took my almost 3 years with a fast track investor program...my father invested and we all got green cards before i turned 21...
you can't just apply for one...you have to have an american familyt member or get married or invest or have a work visa that translates into I-140 petition!
Good Luck, it's a pain in the ***! But america is a great country!

Actually you cant apply for a greencard. The greencard is granted if you marry an american citizen or if you work in the US for 5 years or longer with a valid working visa.
You can participate to the greencard lottery tho, every year they give away 50,000 greencards to people from all over the world. Its not too easy to win cause millions apply . The official website to apply is www.dvlottery.state.gov and its totally free.

You don't need a green card!

Just go to Mexico and then make a quick run across the border!

If the minute men don't catch you, the surely the democrats will let you stay!!!
