LOVE.... love is something special, something that you would not want to live w/o. Love gives you the strength to do things that you would not be able to do by yourself. Love is the feeling of kissing someone even after a few months and still getting butterflies in your tummy. Love is a warm feeling that your get every you see the person....a feeling that you NEVER want to go away. Love is honest. Love is forgiving and love is the best gift that any person can give or receive so handle it with care.
LIKE... like is powerful but not as special as LOVE. Like is knowing that you would like to get to know this person. Like ha pens easily. Like is not always truthful or forgiving. More people experience like than love. Like is something that you have at the time but do not HAVE to have. Like can grow into LOVE.

You can like someone as a friend but not get too emotional about them if for example they moved away or died. However, when you are in love the emotional bond is very strong and causes intense feelings at the very thought of the loss of that person.

Love is like the 10th floor of a building but to get to that floor you need to start on the 1st which is liking. Everyone likes a person at first, but until you spend time with the person, experience things with another person, (get to the 10th floor) is where love comes in.

I think Love is being able to say you're willing to do anything for a person without any apprehension. Liking someone is just that...liking. You care for them, but you wouldn't put your life on the line for them.

love is when you really think you could die for this person, and you'd do anything for them. you really feel as if they're a important part of your life. liking is just a physical attraction. you don't truely care about the person deep inside.

well LOVE is wen u like some one very much and LIKING is not as strong as love its just well a lil crush thats wat i think it is and no wikipedias required on that one lol!
