she's your mom, do not be shy, anything like this should be told early to prevent anything serious, i myself had testicular cancer and yeah it was hard telling that to my parents, i actually did some researchs and prepared myself on what is going to happen to me like what operation i have to undertake, what are the effects before i actually told my dad about it, i had to show to my parents that i'm strong =)
do not wait

Well, honestly I had a bacterial infection once, and it was caused from my husband spitting on me for "lubrication." Yes, I realize that it was gross and stupid however my infection lasted forever until I eventually went to the doctor and had a pap-smear. He gave me some vaginal suppository's and it cleared up. If it is bacterial then no over-the-counter medicine will clear it up. Just tell your mom that there might be a problem down there, and ask her to make an appointment. You don't have to tell her how you think you got it because that might not be how you really got it.
Good luck

I'm a nurse. There is no easy way to tell a love one something like that. I would get her alone or ask can you speak to her in a serious conversation (that way she will be expecting something serious).Tell her that you need her help, then say I have a ....... mom what should I do? I think if you say it thins way she will feel needed and that you still depend on her and value her advice. I do hope this works for you good luck.

Are you embarrassed about the infection, or having to fess up about how you got the infection in the first place? If you got it by doing something you would be embarrassed about then maybe just tell her you have an infection and either tell her not ask, or tell her you don't know how you got it.

You don't have to tell her (depending on how old you are). Just go to the doctor yourself and find out what's up. Now, if you're too young to take yourself then just sit her down and tell her. Would you rather tell her and get help or have it and let it get worse and worse? Chances are she'll help you out and you will know next time that it wasn't so bad going to your mom for personal help. Good luck!

You tell her...very simple. That's what moms are for. The real question is...there's more to this story...what are you hiding that makes you concerned to tell her? Regardless. get it over with and learn from your mistakes.
