I thought the opion of the Generals is what bush was looking for. If you were one of the ground troops. Wouldn't you ask for more support.

in honesty the troops probably are mixed about what they want. gates will bring back the opinion that agrees with bush. the press will report the opinion that agrees with bush.

If i was a ground troop, which i am going to be in 3 weeks, i rather be home watching tv with my family

Enlisted people give you the straight story.
What can happen to them, cut their hair and send them to war ?
