I think it mostly depends on what type of qualities you would like to have in your life partner. I would imagine that you would want someone who will love and respect you, and who you can love and respect, someone who is similar to you in his values and priorities in life. Someone whom you can trust.
Always steer clear of boys who are into bad habits like taking drugs, getting drunk, criminal ativity, and who do not treat women with respect. These will cause you much unhappiness.
Also look for a boy who treats his mother right, because this is often a good indicator of how well he wll treat his girlfriend or wife.
But at the end of the day, it is up to you to know what you want. If you don't know yet, perhaps you should not look for a boyfriend right now, until you are more sure of what you want.

It really depends on what type of person you are. Like is you like to talk alot, you might want a bf you is willing to listen to you. Stuff like that.

To know what type of boyfriend you like, it all depends on you!!! You should know by yourself which boy suits you well, nobody can decide it for you, it's your choice!! For example, you are a girl who talks very little, you won't like a boyfriend talking all day all night!!! And also if you like when a boy talks to you well and not talk about sex or anything of that sort, you wouldn't like a boy who loves sex and want to do it with you!! So, it all depends on you and just you!!! It's your choice.

Better look for clean habits, ethics & policy in life. His family background and his upbringing. should have family loyalty.

A decent type with good morals, mabey virgin till marrage (watch out for fakes) It is also important for him to be handsome, you know the type people always ask "are you a model?" and buff so he can protect you. AKA Me ;)

a bf, like a gf, should be considerate of who you are, what you like, and take care of your feelings. he should be kind and think of you when you're together, and even more when you're apart. he should feel that being with you makes him want to be a better person.
