Hey the Isralites were punished for making a GOD of gold that looked like a goat or Ram (Ten Commanments), so redigning is out. Modifying is a form of that also, Me thinks you shouldn't touch that subject at all for the sake of avoiding insult and injury. Seems in most scripture and articles GOD is of light or flame, flicker on dude.
