You could get your dog braces.

The wound should be cleaned and wrapped as soon as possible. Then see a doctor as soon as possible to look at the bite and decide if it needs treatment and antibiotics. If the dog does not have proof of rabies vaccination the dog will need to be quarantiened if possible and you will need rabies shots.
I was bitten last year and the immediate first aid of cleaning and wrapping the wound tightly helped minimize swelling and scarring.

It depends where you live and if this was a domestic dog or not. A doctor or a nurse will have to clean out the wound and might give you a tetanus injection. You might also need a rabies treatment.

if the skin was broken the history on the dog must be found out - did it have its rabies shots??

if not then the dog is held for a 10 day RABIES HOLD

now depeding on the severity of the bite - it may need stitches or simply wash it out and bandage it...

GET TO A MEDICAL FACILITY AND HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT. YOU MAY NEED STICHES AND A TETANUS SHOT. HOPE THE DOG WAS NOT A STRAY WITHOUT ANY SHOTS BECAUSE YOU MAY ALSO NEED TO GO THROUGH A SERIES OF RABIES SHOTS AS WELL.

YOU MUST IDENTIFY THE DOG AND CHECK TO SEE IF IT HAS HAD ITS SHOTS. IF SO, CALL YOUR DR. IF NOT YOU MUST HAVE THE DOG CHECKED FOR RABIES!!!
