If you leave it out to long uncovered it disappears.
At least thats been my experience.

Reminds me of that commercial: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? If your Fudge is good enough, you'll never have to worry about it, because it won't last long enough to sit out for long. The Fudge I make never makes it over two days, but you can leave it out until it turns stale. I don't know how many days that would take. Hopefully you won't either.

I like fudge that has dry edges so I let mine sit out for several days.
I don't know that it really will "go bad" but it starts to taste old after 4 or 5 days.

a couple of days before it dries out or develops an effervescence on it. If it gets damp or wet, it could get mouldy.
I've had fudge sitting on top of my fridge (in a covered bowl) last for weeks, but it gets dry.

Quite some time. It may form a hard shell on the top as the chocolate dries out, but it will still be safe to eat.

With 4 teenage boys in our house you MUST cover it and HIDE it or it will be gone the minute you turn around.
LOL....keep it wrapped up so it will stay fresh and not dry out.

I wouldn't let it set out too long, a few hours, leaving it out will make it soft and dust and anything flying around in the air will settle on it. It's just not sanitary.
