I have in my possition a William Knaggs Violin, I beleive it to be very rare. I am planning on selling it and I want to give the family the opportunity to buy it... It was built in Hamilton Ont. in 1894.

Hey Charles,

This is not the correct Category for this type of connection. Genealogy is about dead people (ancestors).

I am a family Member-would love to see it...Found one listed online years ago but told seller passed before could reach him... I am the 3x great-granddaughter of William Knaggs...our family was from a long line of Fiddle/Violin makers from Yorkshire/the UK, when they immigrated to Canada in Early 1820 s. During the 1800 s most of our family members were musicians, singers, engineers, carpenters/Violin/Fiddle makers-along with farming. Most of our families beloved family treasures were lost in the Great Depression, and sadly the Art that had been passed down for centuries was mostly lost as well.
