take care of your business, dont let problems mount. drink beer and or wine when at home, learn how to chill by wearing a robe, lighting up a cigar and drinking a glass of brandy...put on some nice tunes and realize that worrying about stuff only matters if its something you really really need to addrerss...

I'm a nurse. Relaxing and finding a happy place. I like scented candles, bubble baths, a good massage, something like that. You need to find something that would make you feel great. What about forplay or sex. That would also work. I do hope this is useful to you. Try hard not too worry so much. Everything is going to be ok and get better soon, you'll see. Take care and hang in there.

my suggestion is not to try to keep stress away but to find an outlet for it. If i have a rough day i come home and "zone out " by playing a video game before i deal with my wife and kid for about 30 minutes. they know this is my alone time and give me space it works very well and after about 30 minutes of playing I' m can deal with my life better.. find something that provides an outlet that doesn't hurt other people

You cannot keep stress away, it is a fact of life. You've already gotten several ideas for coping mechanisms, and that is what you need to do, develop better skills for coping with the stressors in your life.

the best thing to keep stress away is dont get them.just enjoy life take things one day at a time in moderation.just remember things cause you stress not because of you but by the people you concieved in your mind you have to please and the things you must have. think about it and drop the baggage

i'd recommend running or activity that does not require a lot of thinking since the stress i tend have is cause by outside force that i have no way of controlling beside hiding from the cause of the problem.

Exercise! Go for a walk or climb stairs.

Don't view things as stress- view it as a challenge

Think of something you love very much or remember old memories. I always do that when i have a lot of stress. I forgot my stress and i beomce calm.

Give up stress producers such as work, personal relationships, shopping, etc, and go on perpetual monastic retreat.
