When I go out of town and come back home, he talks to me alot then lays on his back and stretches out. When I come home from wherever I am going, he is waiting, sitting in front of the door, he may even be waking up from his sleep cuz he blinks his eyes alot. Is this normal??? Also he will just run up and bite my leg out of nowhere!!! Then he likes to sleep with me and put his face under my chin

Normal cat stuff - he likes you! That is what you want from a cat after all - or any pet - affection.

Animals know our schedules, since they are pretty well set. My dogs do the same thing for each person when it is time for them to come home - they come near the door and wait.

Laying on his back means he wants you to rub his belly - get too it with the return affection!

Running up and biting at your leg means it's time to play. Get some cat toys that you can play with with him- a dangly thing on a stick, a laser pointer so he can chase the light, things like that.

And enjoy having an affectionate cat.

LOL! Oh my goodness my cat does those things as well! It's funny we all have those say situations with out cat. I figured out that when my cat runs up and bites me out of nowhere, it's because he wants me to play with him. Sometimes i get so mad when he does that, but I have to laugh because he'll do it and then take off running, look back as if he wants me to chase him! LOL!

Cats blink their eyes to show love and also that they want something. If he just randomly bites your leg, don't worry, he's not crazy, my cat does it too. I think that their so happy they don't know what to do. And remember, kittens attack their mommys so he might just be doing something natrual. Merry Christmas!

Yes your kitty loves you. He blinks his eyes to show affection, also known as a kitty kiss. When he stretches out to show you his belly, it means he trusts you as he is exposing his most vulnerable area to you.

My cat does all of those things too. I think it's normal and just figure that the people who had him before me must have spoiled him rotten. He's very sweet though :)

Aw, that is so sweet. He missed you and is saying welcome home. If he is biting your leg I would take this as he is trying to get attention from you.
