I'm the bride. I want to wear a ice pink beautiful wedding gown. What colors would go well with that? What color dresses would my bridemaids wear? Has any of you ever been to a wedding and the bride had on a pink gown? I think it'll be gorgeous.

I think if you are going to have so much color on your own gown, the best bet is to keep the bridesmaids gowns very simple. Pick a white or cream color, and get tea length gowns. In a white gown, the bride stands out because her dress is so bright among the black tuxes and colored gowns. If you wear a colored gown, omitting other colors will allow you to still stand out. SO, have the girls in white but not full gowns so they don't look like wedding dresses, and have tghe guys in black tuxes with white vests/ties - except the groom, who could have a vest/tie to match your dress.

Hi, I just got married in semptember and I loved my dress it was almost a golden color, everyone thought it was horrible that I didnt want to wear a formal white dress. Looking back and through my wedding pictures I love my dress and how it looked in the pictures. After the wedding my mother cam up to me and told me how pretty I looked and that everyone said how beatiful my dress was. I think you should wear what makes you happy, when you try on a wedding dress and it makes you feel like you are the most beatiful girl on the face of the earth, you should go with it. I would say if you are wearing pink which is such an untraditional color for a wedding dress (which is great), maybe put your bridesmaids in a dark pink with a accent of ice pink to match you. I recommend white and pink flowers as well. If you go with a pink wedding dress you will have to match it with parts of the wedding, like the napkins on the table or the flowers. I think it would look amazing if you wore pink. No matter what you wear, enjoy your wedding. Make sure to stop and look around, be amazed that your perfect day turned out wonderful. Congrats!

If you like ice pink, it should be okay for a wedding gown. You could try a darker shade of pink or maroon for the bridesmaid dresses.

I do think that traditional white or off white looks good in a wedding gown. But, its your wedding and its your choice.

If you want to wear an ice pink wedding dress, go ahead I think it will look great (WHY does a wedding dress have to be white anyway?) Brides maids would look good in a darker pink or cream.

Your gown sounds like it is going to be beautiful! For your girls, I would suggest a very light champagne color dress, or maybe a rich brown color. I would stay away from blue, it might look like a boy / girl theme with the pink and blue. I hope you have a wonderful wedding :-)

Ice pink is a lovely choice and not at all promiscuous looking. I have seen pregnant brides get married in white so I think that whole white is virginal, and the guests are fools, is gone away.
Use ice tones for the rest of your party, a metallic silvery color is pretty, used with tones of lavender flowers and those sterling roses that are not quite lavender and not quite pink would be not only attractive, but unique.

Gwen Stefani had pink at the bottom of her gown, it might be a nice compromise.

You could then have the bridemaids wear the same color pink.

I attached the link to her gown below, it is really pretty!

It sounds beautiful. Your attendants could wear a light red color or even an ivory colored dress with pink lace or tooling. I would not put them in white though. Brown is always a nice accent color to pink, that would be very pretty early fall or early spring, depending how light or dark you go with the brown. Good luck.

A darker shade of pink or perhaps cream or beige would be nice. I have never seen a bride wear pink before. Full pink might be a little risky but maybe ivory or white with pink accents should be something to consider.

Good luck!!

when i picture Ice pink...i see the palest pink there is with a hint of shimmer or pearl..but that's just me!

i think that would be very beautiful, maybe use deeper shades of pink...maybe a dramatic cranberry and then use the ice pink for a sash or the flowers, and then the accessories use pearls

just don't go overboard with the light pick...it'll end up looking like the wedding on Steel Magnolias...everything was a "bashful" pink.....lol
