I have felt a bump on my testicle but am not sure if it is part of this cord that holds the sperm. It definatly feels like a bump and not a cord but i am not sure if it is suppose to be there. It is about the size of a pea. I have other symptoms such as testicle pain, urination difficulty, pains that go into legs feet and arms. Any help would be appreciated.

I had stage 3 Testicular cancer and treatment and recovery was harsh . I had a lump on my testicle for about a year and a half but I just ignored it and hoped that it would go away . I subconciously knew something was wrong but I didn't want to accept it . I went in for a knee operation and the Orthopedic surgeon discovered my lump . DUDE , don't be a fool and idiot like me . Go to the doctor and have it checked out . I lost a testicle and had my abdomen sliced open to remove half my lymph knodes in my back . The chemo was unpleasant and now I don't have any hair . My family were put through hell and all this could have been prevented if I had just listened to my body . Just do it !!

The only way to find out for sure is to go to a doctor, take off all your clothes and insist they actually examine you. Heaven knows why doctors run all these blood tests for things when they could probably just look and feel to find the right diagnosis. I guess maybe it has something to do with people being so uptight about anyone seeing or touching them. That combined with the tendency in society to cry wolf (by running to a lawyer and suing everyone in sight) when a person thinks they have been looked ot or touched.

Personally, if a doctor isn't prepared to look and feel a naked guy to try to ascertain what his problem might be, then he shouldn't be a doctor in the first place. And a patient who freaks out over and/or sues a doctor for doing a thorough genital exam should simply not have genitals in the first place. Of course all the guys with genital problems who don;t go to their doctor run the risk of losing parts anyway so maybe time will cure the problem.

There are two things you should do that are very important. #1 schedule an appointment with a doctor asap. #2 DON'T worry and stress out about it till it consumes your every thought, trust me I've done this and it just makes things worse. A lot of lumps called congenital cysts are totally harmless, and sometimes those symptoms you described are even unrelated to those. I have a cyst that I tried to just ignore for a while, telling myself it was nothing to worry about, till it started to hurt and I got those classic symptoms you're talking about. Worrying so much and thinking about it all the time just amplified them because I could think of nothing else. I finally saw a doctor and found out everything was cool, and that most lumps aren't cancerous. It also helps that testicular cancer is one of the easiest to treat and almost %100 curable if you don't let it go too long. Do a web search to find out more and to learn how to check yourself properly, right after you hang up the phone with a doctor.

I am really tired of people who think they're having a heart attack, think they have cancer, think they might be pregnant, think they're having a miscarriage, think they've broken a bone, think this, think that, sitting at their computers and asking complete strangers with no medical qualifications whatsoever to diagnose their problems.
If you were lucky enough to be born with a brain, use it to phone your doctor's office to make an appointment.
I truly hope there's nothing wrong with you, hon, but honestly, be smarter.

Start with the doctor, that would be the logical thing to do.
