Canada is like one giant forest so there's no need to worry. When you hear things like we are running out of wood, and global warning, and running out of oil, it's just the Liberal nutcases like Al "I invented the internet" Gore who want to scare people into voting for them and the "Green Party", whatever that is. Same with people who don't want oil drilling off the coast of the U.S., they're worried about an oil spill. Huh? More chance of a spill when you are hauling oil halfway around the world. Besides, doesn't the earth make oil? Ergo, if it spills, it just goes back to the earth.

Trees grow back. There are actually more trees and more acres of forest in the US today that 100 years ago. Timber companies want a continuous supply of the product that they sell, so they plant trees all the time. However, in some parts of the world, like the Amazon rain forest, people are clearing land for farming. They are cutting trees and not letting them grow back.

In developed countries the logging and timber industries don't want to cut down all the trees. How would they continue cutting down?
So, they replant. Most of the paper you are using comes from a managed forest like this.
There is an issue with rain forests being in danger, like in the amazon, Sub-Saharan Africa, Borneo, etc
