Welll, it depends on how HARD you rejected this person. Are we talking a polite turn down or a "I'd never date you if you were the last person on the planet" kind of turn down. If it was a harsh one, I'd say avoid it, because no body likes to be patronized. He might be offended. But if you were reasonable about it, you should still be able to communicate normally.

I think you should still say hi. You don't have to carry on a conversation but it would be nice to polite and say high. Still show that you have good manners. It would only cause confusion if you tried to duck him, because to me it would seem like you have some kind of feelings for him if you have to go through the extra stuff of ignoring him or trying to hide from him.

why wouldn't you unless you thought him not worth your time. but then that lays into arrogant behaviour and a beleif of being better then the other person. it would be civil, polite and respectful to acknowledge at least that person and say hello. stopping to talk is optional. but you can still have respect and say hi.

The right and mature thing to do would be to nod or say hello politely. You may not want to, but be the bigger person and no attitude allowed.

As you pass him, say hello but don't smile too much or act flirty at all...it will send a mixed message to him.

It feels even worst if you reject him then ignore him too. Just say hi no long conversations or anything like that.

You don't have to talk to him, but it's always civil to say hello.
That way you're stating that your rejection wasn't to hurt him, but simply a rational choice.

Say hi, and see how he responds. This will tell you how to react in the future. Good luck!

Just because I did not accept his offer of dinner and a movie does not mean that I cannot speak to him when I see him. To intially ignore someone that you know is just rude.

It'd be rude to not say Hello if you are passing him by. Just say What's up and leave it at that :)
