This happened to me, off and on for yrs., finally after lots of different diagnosis and tests, they did an MRI to find it was MS, there are lots of things this could be, diabetes, inner ear infections, brain tumor, anemia, the list could go on and on, it takes serious testing to get a diagnosis, guess work won't do it, best not to take any chances, get into a specialist and if the problem returns, continue to pursue this as it could be serious and needs attention. Don't wait.

You don't say how old you are. I am going through menopause and have some of these same symptoms. It helps to eat right, exercise and get enough sleep. Boring, I know. I am diabetic too, are you sure your diet is OK? Ask the doctor about the Lipitor, I'm on that too, but have not felt dizzy. It could also be holiday blues or SAD disorder where you need more sunlight. Sometimes it helps to just talk to someone. I have a really good therapist, have you considered therapy? Best of luck, I'll be thinking about you.

Maybe you are lacking the vitamins and minerals that are absolutely necessary in your diet. If you are intaking large quntites of protein, that could be a major cause.. Medicines have side effects like that but also medicatins deplete the body of vitamins and minerals so up the vegetables and fruits .. hard with diabetes, I know
