I keep seeing responses to people who use Cut-n-paste methods of responding to questions with "why don't you use your own thoughts?"
My response is this, Unless you obtained your education completely from scratch, with no books and no teachers known to man than you cannot say that, I dont gaive a Dang what evidence you have to the contrary or what credibility the whole Dang world assigns to it, I reject it, I destroy it, I eliminate it, and do so with all deliberate force.
If you obtained your information from any source, then it is not your own thoughts, Thats ludirous,
I use Cut-n-paste after I have researched the subject and agreed with it, and If I like it I will use it, You dont like it, then leave.

I see the same debates on here everyday. The evolution debate pops up at least a dozen times. The explanation of the Holy Trinity pops up a dozen times. Yadda yadda yadda. I cut and paste some comments because it becomes monotonous having to type it over and over and over.

I only use cut and paste after I "have" researched all the information.

What are you specifically referring to that you cut and paste? A lot of people cut and paste the whole damn Bible. People don't read long tracts on the web, hence the lack of success of on line magazines. Also, many people think the Bible is relavatory in nature and people will see the dictum of God glowing like the Golden Plates that the Angel Moroni gave to Joseph Smith.
On other topics I have been satisfied with short concise pieces that people have cut and pasted for me an I appreciate it.
But mainly I enjoy this site to see other people's "take" on various subjects. Hell, I can touch type, know a little programming, am college educated: truthfully, I can do my own damn research. I just enjoy, as I said, hearing others opinions. I have a lot of opinions and enjoy nothing more than getting disabused of my prejudices. That is what I call learning.

If I do use cut and paste it is my words because I type it once then I use the same in other questions that fit with the information it saves me retyping the same thing constantly considering how many people actually take the time to even read the Answers is it worth even answering them? But yes they are my words if not I do not use them, because I research all my answers before I give them andif it does not agrre to what I think I will not use the material, but if you reject or destroy it then you should'nt waste your time and ours with asking futile questions if you do not bother with the answers why ask the questions, seems a bit futile to me a waste of time and I must remember in future not to answer your questions

As the above answerer mentioned, Meditation is the best way to learn how to control our thoughts. Meditation involves the art of concentration and quietening the mind. In meditation we not only try to control our thoughts but we also can bring to the fore our inner qualities of peace and oneness. If we can invoke the calming power of our own heart, then we use an alternative force to take the place of the negative mind. We should meditate every day so that we can bring to the fore as much as peace as possible into our mind. If we only meditate when we are overrun with thoughts, we will find meditation very difficult. But, if we gain peace of mind through our daily meditation then we develop our inner capacities to control our thoughts. Cheers!

those who oppose cut and paste are the very ones who have learned their views from sources same as everyone. How they present those sources is not the debate. The debate is if they agree or not. They like to take the focus off of the real debate.

I agree, most but not all use cut and paste to get their answer up first and think that this will get them the 10pts, but I rarely award the points to these people myself, I prefer orginality.

there are really few things which are totally new. however each person has a right to believe and say what they feel is right depending on their own point of view. we all have the free will and right to express how we feel as long as we respect others rights to do the same.

It may not be your own thoughts, but your own words from your own experience is always more valuable than blind reguritation and quotes from others.

I real trip is worth more than a 1000 travel books. We want to know about your trip - not quoting travel books.
