If you really love someone (as opposed to just fancying them a lot) you will put their interests before your own.

You will be prepared to make sacrifices for them.

You will love their bad points as well as their good points.

You're obviously very young, and you don't really know yet what love means. You think it means that great feeling you get when you're with the person. Well, it doesn't.

Love isn't just something you feel, it's something you DO.

You can't give real love to more than one person at a time.

Now, lust, that's a whole different story........:-)

I don't think that is a question you will ever find the answer to, if there is one.
No-one has the right to define Love or it's effects and circumstances, logically we love many people our families and friends so why is that considered to be seen different from passionate love?
I think the real question your asking is, is it OK to be in love with two people?
When we talk about Love we are automatically talking about someone else's feelings as well as our own, so by being in Love with two different people suggests that either of these people could be hurt by the circumstances.

The fact of the matter is that Love comes hand in hand with pain and hurt, just not if its on purpose.

God now I've confused myself!!!!

You can love more than one person at a time. You love your friends, family and children. You can only have one true love and if you think you are in love with two people then you haven't met your true love yet. That love will stand out above all the rest.

It would depend on your definition of 'love'. I guess I'd think that it was possible to be infatuated, or strongly attracted to two people but not truly in love with two people. I think true love would be a clear and obvious choice, at least per my definition of the word and how it would apply to me.

Guess it could be possible, but you may love two people but do these two people love you? If yes then you have a dilemma, if only one of then loves you then thats the one you go with. We all want to be loved.

If you're asking this question, I'll have to ask you to define being "in love" because I think it's possible and don't see a big deal about it. But apparently a lot of girls do. So maybe we (girls and guys) don't have the same meaning of the term "love" or being "in love".

Yes, but maybe this is because you're not convinced with one of them, I mean you like something in the first one and like something else that doesn't exist in the second one. You may be hesitated, you should make up your mind :)

Realistically speaking no but technically speaking YES. If you truly love them both than pick one or end up with none.
